LEONI postpones Annual General Meeting following ban of major events in Bavaria due to corona pandemic

– Subject to the further development of the coronavirus pandemic, the event will be postponed to the end of July
– Frankenhalle Nuremberg will remain the venue

Nuremberg. LEONI AG will postpone the date of its annual general meeting after the city of Nuremberg recently announced a prohibition of events with more than 100 participants in light of the coronavirus. Frankenhalle Nuremberg will remain the venue for the event, which was initially scheduled for 7 May 2020. Subject to further developments related to the coronavirus pandemic, the company plans to invite its shareholders to the annual meeting for the end of July.

Following an internal risk assessment and based on recent measures introduced by the Bavarian State government and the City of Nuremberg, LEONI announces today that it will no longer be able to meet the original date for its Annual General Meeting on 7 May 2020. “Our decision to postpone our Annual General Meeting and hold it at a later date is to ensure the health of our shareholders, our employees and our service providers,” says Aldo Kamper, CEO of LEONI AG.
