COO visits LEONI Serbia - further optimisations have been decided to improve competitiveness.
LEONI Serbia had the pleasure of welcoming the LEONI Chief Operating Officer (COO), Dr. Anis Kammoun, together with the Head of Program Management Operations (HO PMO), Roland Schlaghaufer, during their working visit to our production locations in Serbia. The delegation was hosted by the LEONI Serbia management team, led by General Manager Aleksandar Petrović.
During the meetings, Dr. Kammoun acknowledged the progress achieved by LEONI Serbia in 2025, a year that was particularly demanding for the company. The achieved KPIs demonstrate the commitment of employees and the strength of the management team during a stabilization phase, especially considering that these results were delivered in a year marked by significant challenges, including the closure of one production unit. It was emphasized that the KPIs achieved in 2025 represent an important foundation, as well as responsibility for further improve performance in 2026.
Aleksandar Petrović thanked Dr. Anis Kammoun for his continuous support and open dialogue, emphasizing that the responsible and disciplined approach of the management team, together with the strong commitment of employees, enabled the achievement of the KPIs under demanding conditions.
As part of the visit, Dr. Anis Kammoun and Roland Schlaghaufer toured the production facility in Prokuplje, the oldest LEONI plant in Serbia, from which the company’s development and expansion began in 2009.
The tour of this facility was led by Plant Manager Ivan Đorđević. On the following day, the visit continued at the Niš plant, where the tour was led by Plant Manager Stefan Đorđević.
Special attention was given to thorough walkthroughs of both production sites, during which they engaged with teams and reviewed work organization and process flows, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and operational stability, as well as further improvements.
The visitors expressed their satisfaction with what they observed at both sites, praising the teams’ commitment and the level of operational maturity, while providing concrete suggestions for further improvements in processes, work organization, and technical solutions.
The Plant Managers in Prokuplje and Niš highlighted the strong commitment of their teams, emphasizing that performance is driven by people and that results are the outcome of their dedication, skills, and accountability.
Visits by Dr. Anis Kammoun and Ronald Schlaghaufer consistently represent an important source of information and knowledge, as well as additional encouragement to further improve performance.
