The LEONI company is dedicated to organizing and participating in socially useful actions, which is why we joined the global “Trash challenge” campaign this year as well. This spring, our employees from Niš and Malošište cleaned part of the Nišava riverside, while the employees of the Prokuplje plant cleaned Hisar hill in this city.
Preservation of the environment and raising environmental awareness are our primary motives when organizing these actions, and considering that we always bring children with us, we teach them and give them an example of how to behave in nature and how to protect the environment.
Shared energy, enthusiasm, laughter and hard work accompanied this year's cleaning actions in Niš and Prokuplje.
According to our colleagues, such actions, in addition to contributing to the preservation of nature, create and strengthen team spirit.
- Actions like this move and motivate us. Seeing people from different sectors of our company come together with the same goal - to clean up our community - is commendable and admirable. With this, we strengthen our team spirit, and at the same time, we give children an example of what our business environment looks like, but also how to protect the environment - commented the participants of the action.
We hope that other citizens, as well as companies, will follow our example, and that they will take care to dispose of garbage in containers and bins and thereby contribute to a cleaner community.
