Contribution to dual education program

This year, the company LEONI Serbia received a new generation of students who will conduct practical training at the Prokuplje plant. Three talented students of the Technical School "15. May" from Prokuplje – Aleksandra Kostić, Andrija Mladenović and Filip Filipović joined our team.

Practical teaching involves training them in computer control of a CNC machine.

Amr Shawky, Prokuplje Plant Manager welcomed the students:

• It is our responsibility that you receive the very best training. We expect you to show a desire to work, to ask and to be proactive. Learning requires effort. On our side, you will have engineers who will work with you and provide you with knowledge and all the necessary support. I also came to LEONI Egypt through the training program, before graduating in 2007 and after that I joined the team directly. I have been in the company for many years in different positions and in different countries, and currently in Serbia.

The students that the LEONI plant in Prokuplje received for professional practice last year proved to be very hardworking and dedicated. We believe that students of the new generation will be motivated and dedicated to the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience through practical work.

This year, the LEONI company signed a contract for the dual education of the students of the Mechanical and Technical School in Kraljevo, majoring in computer control (CNC) machine technician. When they are in their 4th year, they will work in our machine workshop, and their mentor will be their colleague Nemanja Đurković, a licensed instructor for dual education.

The LEONI Serbia will continue to invest in young talents, support young people and contribute to the development of professional staff.
